These iconic structures were a common sight throughout the British Isles, characterising the, once rich, industrial landscape. Now only a few isolated examples remain, standing tall as symbols to an era of rapid growth and eventual decline.
This kit mimics the former pit headstocks of Bradford Colliery, Greater Manchester, UK.

Assembly
This kit is easy to put together, simply;
- align each part with another,
- apply glue to the fixing edges,
- and hold in place a few seconds until set.
You will need super glue to secure the parts and a small pin to act as the shaft for the pit wheels – these two items are not included.

y personal opinion is that it would look equally good on both an N gauge or OO gauge layout with suMitable accompanying buildings – but you will have to make your own mind up!
